This was a disturbing period-piece movie set in the early 1900's about two gay, former college, friends that reunite after World War I. This movie is not a romance and it does not have a happy ending. It is a movie dealing with self-loathing, despair, hopelessness and it leaves you feeling sad, depressed and at times enraged. More so enraged as it was based on actual events that happened at that time. It does make you think, but if you are looking for a feel-good movie, this isn't it....
