*Beware Boiúna* is very much about getting this group of people into the rainforest for a vague reason and then dropping its story points purely for a bloody snake massacre. It is chock-full of jerky camera movements jittering to an obnoxiously loud sound mix. Repetitive loud noises in a film basically equate to elongated jump scares. *Beware Boiúna* isn't stingy when it comes to butchering people in countless slimy and slithery ways, but it's all something that could have been avoided if they didn't make terrible decisions.
